Record Number of Citations this Year for Adfero Congressional Clients
WASHINGTON — Adfero Group today congratulated 19 of their Capitol Hill clients who won the Congressional Management Foundation’s (CMF) Gold Mouse Awards “The Best Websites on Capitol Hill.”
This year, Adfero’s clients collected over 25% of the honors given to House of Representatives offices – with three Gold, six Silver, and ten Bronze Mouse Awards.
“If the Gold Mouse Awards were the Olympics, Adfero would lead the vendor medal count,” says Ken Ward, Adfero Vice President who oversees the firm’s Congressional Practice. “We are proud to partner with our Congressional clients to produce the highest quality websites on Capitol Hill.”
To identify the winners, CMF analyzed 618 congressional websites, including those of all Senate and House Members, committees (both majority and minority sites) and official leadership sites. This year, 104 websites were acknowledged winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze Mouse Awards – the highest honors given.
The websites were graded on how well they incorporated five basic building blocks deemed critical for effective online communications: audience, content, usability, interactivity, and innovation. Qualitatively, CMF looked at the quality and tone of the information on each Congressional site; the navigability; its look and feel; the degree to which the information served its visitor’s needs.
Adfero works with more than 150 Capitol Hill offices, making it possible for Congress to communicate better with the people it represents. Adfero has spent years developing a suite of services, such as website design, that allow congressional clients to quickly and smartly manage their constituent contacts.
In addition to individualized website designs, Adfero offers a Constituent Relationship Management program that combines every tool an office needs into a simple but highly effective program. With database management, constituent profiles, back-end website administration, email delivery and tracking, and efficient sorting of inbound communications, it has evolved to become an integrated platform unlike any other.
“When it comes to online communications, our innovations, creative ideas and they way we implement them for our Congressional clients has made Adfero an industry leader,” said Jeff Mascott, Adfero Managing Director. “We’re thrilled so many of the Member offices that we work for were acknowledged with a prestigious Gold Mouse Award.”
