Fireside21 offers constituent relations tools to Capitol Hill and expects certification of cutting-edge, new software later this year

Washington, D.C. - Today, Adfero Group announced the launch of Fireside21, a new company that was formed from Adfero’s growing Congressional practice. The spin-off marks Fireside21’s evolution and growth as a provider of Web-based software for elected officials including award-winning Web sites and highly efficient methods for delivering emails to targeted constituents.

“Our mission at Fireside21 is to continue to help lawmakers connect with everyday citizens by using the most cutting-edge tools and technologies available,” said Ken Ward, CEO of Fireside21. “The nature of politics and participatory democracy is changing, and we are excited to be growing and playing a role in that process.”

Later this year, Fireside21 expects to receive certification for its new Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platform that is specifically designed to simplify and organize the overwhelming amount of correspondence and agency assistance handled by a congressional office.

Fireside21 will be led by the same team of former congressional staffers who launched Adfero’s award-winning Web site content management and email newsletter platforms. This team has extensive knowledge of the latest changes to Web-based tools for constituent relations and was featured in the Institute for Politics, Democracy & the Internet’s publication Constituent Relationship Management: The New Little Black Book in Politics.

The name ‘Fireside21’ was inspired by President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s “fireside chats”. Just as Roosevelt connected with individual citizens across the country via radio, Fireside21 will help politicians in the 21st century continue to explore how to use the latest technologies to build close relationships with constituents.

“As Adfero has expanded to become a full-service public relations company, it only made sense to spin off our growing Congressional division to establish a separate brand that reflects our total dedication to the delivery of superior Web-based software services to congressional offices,” said Adfero Managing Director and Fireside21 President Jeff Mascott. “The same talented individuals who made up Adfero’s Congressional team will continue to provide high-touch service to Hill offices as Fireside21.”
