Firm chosen for Speak Now for Kids website design
WASHINGTON – Adfero Group is pleased to announce that it has been nominated for a Webby Award in the Best Association category. The award, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.
Adfero is being recognized for a website it designed in collaboration with the National Association of Children’s Hospitals (NACH) and the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) – www.SpeakNowforKids.org. This site uses a variety of interactive media to give children a greater voice in the health care reform debate.
“We are thrilled that Adfero has made the cut out of nearly 10,000 entries IADAS received this year,” said Jeff Mascott, Adfero’s Managing Director. “The Speak Now website has turned many heads on Capitol Hill, and we are proud that this site has set a new standard of excellence in innovative advocacy using the Internet.”
As a nominee, Speak Now for Kids is also eligible to win a Webby People’s Voice Award, which is achieved by winning the highest number of popular votes in an online contest. From now until April 29, fans of Speak Now for Kids can cast their votes in The Webby People’s Voice Awards at webby.aol.com.
Winners will be announced on May 4, 2010, and honored at a ceremony in New York City on June 14, where they will have an opportunity to deliver one of The Webby Awards’ famous five-word speeches.
