ADFERO GROUP WINS BRONZE SABRE AWARD FOR BEST AD

WASHINGTON – Adfero Group has won the 2010 Bronze SABRE Award in the advertising category for its work on an issue advocacy campaign for the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). The awards, given each year by The Holmes Group, honor the best public relations firms in America for developing communications campaigns and public relations products that produce real results.

This year, the SABRE Awards received more than 1,600 entries in all categories. There is only one Bronze Sabre Award given in the advertising category each year.

This is the first time either ICBA or Adfero has won a Bronze SABRE Award. Adfero’s creative team was led by Adfero Partner Michael Wm. Schick, one of the top public affairs advertising experts in the country. Schick and his teams have won the Bronze SABRE Award for advertising three out of the last six years, beating some of the world’s biggest and best PR firms.

“Knowing the competition this year was the toughest yet, we had to temper our expectations,” Schick said. “So to win over some phenomenally talented firms is a huge accomplishment that demonstrates that Adfero, while small, has the astute insights and creative firepower of a big agency.”

Trophies will be presented to SABRE Award winners at a May 11 gala dinner in New York City that is widely attended by some of the world’s top PR agencies.
