PR Firm’s Innovations Recognized Two Years in a Row

WASHINGTON – The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) recently recognized Adfero Group with two Davey Awards for its outstanding interactive media work in multiple categories: Activism and Blog. This is the second year in a row that IAVA has recognized Adfero for its innovative creations.

“Adfero strives to set itself apart from other firms by pushing the limits of imagination in public affairs PR,” said Managing Director Jeff Mascott. “We are very excited that IAVA appreciates our work as much as our clients do.”

Adfero’s collaboration with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on the “Virtual March against Card Check” received a Silver Award in the Activism category. A critical component of the U.S. Chamber’s grassroots advocacy efforts related to the Employee Free Choice Act, the Virtual March motivated over 15,000 Americans to contact their respective U.S. senators and member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

IAVA gave Adfero the Silver Award in the Blog category for K Street Café, a blog where experts from a variety of backgrounds share ways technology, the Internet and social media are being used to shape public policies.

In its fifth year, the Davey Awards is an international awards program that recognizes creative excellence by small firms – “where strength comes from big ideas rather than large budgets.” Judged and sanctioned by IAVA, the Davey Awards receive over 4,000 entries from the best small firms in the world.
