Julia Silver

Julia is an Account Supervisor at Adfero Group. In this role, she works primarily on a strategic communications team for a U.S. Department of Homeland Security contract and assists in new business development. Julia supports client needs drawing from her background in grassroots campaigns, social media, issue advocacy and online strategy. She has worked with Facebook advertising and branding efforts, and has managed contributor outreach for the blog K Street Café.

Prior to joining Adfero Group, Julia served as the political communications program manager at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). She produced and executed integrated political and grassroots communications campaigns and served as one of the lead copywriters for web articles and various newsletters. She also administered the political advocacy program for the organization, and implemented a get-out-the-vote and voter education program.

Before NFIB, Julia served as an assistant in the Congressional and Political Affairs department at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where she conducted legislative research and assisted in implementing lobbying strategies among key Members of Congress, committees and coalitions.

Julia graduated summa cum laude from Dickinson College with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She also received a Master’s degree at the Graduate School of Political Management at the George Washington University. Julia is the co-organizer of the D.C. Grassroots Meet Up and is a member of AD2DC, an organization for young professionals in advertising. An avid Phillies and Eagles fan, she also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Julia currently resides in Arlington, Va.
