Having established her career at the intersection of business, policy and politics, Bethany brings more than a decade of experience working with high-profile leaders in trade associations, Congress and on political campaigns. As Senior Vice President and Energy Practice Lead, Bethany develops winning advocacy campaigns on energy and other issues and advises companies on media relations, message development, reputation management, crisis communications and executive visibility efforts.

Bethany joins Adfero from the American Petroleum Institute, where she led the organization’s media relations team and served as the primary spokesperson for the largest oil and natural gas association in Washington. She previously served as senior director of media relations for the National Retail Federation, where she directed communications for a coalition of 200 associations and major corporations focused on international trade issues.

Previously, Bethany also served as a press secretary for a congressional committee, managed digital communications and social media for the 2016 Jeb Bush presidential campaign and developed digital grassroots strategies for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
